  • Congratulations P.S 196! We are now a PROSE school!

The PROSE program enables schools who have a demonstrated record of effective school leadership, collaboration, and trust to implement innovative practices outside of existing rules.

The PROSE program is designed to:
Foster continuous innovation to challenge some of the basic rules and regulation under which they have historically operated in service of improved student outcomes.

Foster collaboration within and across school communities.
